"The focus experience is a bargain. "
Very friendly, helpful and well informed. We think they enjoy what they do. Are you hiring? Loved Liz and Manuel. We enjoyed all the outings. Went back to Chapala on the bus on Sunday and spent the day, had several lunches and dinners in Ajijic after the program. We were happy with the variety available and revisited several after the program. ie: Tango, The garden, Manix, Exotica (twice) Karen is a NUT! We loved her and hope to get to know her better.
The focus experience is a bargain. We are still figuring out what we learned and will be back with more questions and for assistance. To move to Mexico without the focus resource would not be impossible but it sure would be a lot more exciting.
Dale Smith, Oct 29 to Nov 5, 2011
Very good information and definitely makes the transition
much easier. Great Group Loved the trips. Kudos to Liz. Ajijic Tango was the best for a
steak person. Loved it. For my
first trip to Mexico,
you made it very comfortable. Great Job.
Del Cane, Sep 17 to Sep 24, 2011
The Focus seminar was great, organized well and very informative. An
appointed break one in the morning and one in the afternoon would be nice. Well worth the time and money to obtain all
the per-tenant information on buying and living in Ajijic and surrounding area.
I would recommend to other persons who were thinking of going to the area to
live to sit in on one of the Focus Group Meetings.
Derek & Mary Smith, Sep 17 to Sep 24, 2011
The food - WoW!
Outstanding. The person
responsible for selecting the restaurants is to be commended. The food was absolutely wonderful and each
and every restaurant was an experience never to be forgotten. La Tasca was made a litle more memorable by
Ray and Roberto's wonderfully entertaining duet - "The Sheik of
Ajijic." Wouldn’t change a thing…it was perfect!

"If you couldn't tell, I loved my experience with the Focus on Mexico
program. It's a great blend of education and fun - the description of it
as a Learning Adventure is right on the money."
The educational segments were incredibly informative and helpful. I would never have found all this information on my own. All of the speakers were well organized, knew their stuff and were engaging. I especially enjoyed those who made us laugh - it helps us stay awake and engaged! I loved all of our fun outings. They were so varied that it's hard to pick one favorite. The Ballet Folklorico (and the beautiful theater!) was definitely a highlight, as was the spa visit. I loved the Orozco murals in my first visit to Guadalajara, and found that the addition of a guide to explain something about them provided a meaningful new dimension to the experience. Everything in Chapala and Ajijic gave a fantastic introduction to the area. I can't think of a thing you could do any better.
I cannot believe the number of excellent restaurants and the variety of cuisine in such a relatively small city. You did a great job of introducing us to the variety that Ajijic has to offer and each of the menus seemed to have been thoughtfully put together to accommodate every whatever dietary preferences and restrictions people in the group may have. Wonderful all the way around!
I cannot believe how absolutely warm, welcoming and wonderful everyone on the Focus team is. (Notice I don't use the past tense, as I consider them all new friends.) We had to postpone our visit twice due to Maureen's health crises, and never once did I experience anything but genuine concern about her and her well-being. Then, when we finally arrived, the warmth and caring continued. Liz is a wonder - kind, thoughtful, fun, always paying attention to each person's needs. She makes it all look so effortless that it's easy to forget she's working. But, when you stop and think about how everyone feels that she knows them and is taking care of them, you realize how hard she works! Susan is terrific - a joy to be around, thoughtful, helpful and fun. Liz and Susan together are a great team. And Ray and Marie....well, there aren't enough kudos. They are both so interested in people and easy to talk to, and the fact that they sincerely offer to help everyone at each step of the process - it's just above and beyond. Anyone who works in a service industry should be required to work for a while with Focus on Mexico to learn how it's done.
Catherine Gonzales is a fantastic resource. She was able to smoothly juggle the requirements of numbers of clients all of whom wanted to see lots of property at the same time. She is like all the other Focus Team members - smart, helpful, kind, fun and funny. Just an all around great and helpful person!
If you couldn't tell, I loved my experience with the Focus on Mexico program. It's a great blend of education and fun - the description of it as a Learning Adventure is right on the money. It's great to know that we can call on the team at any time with questions, we have resources to help us accomplish the move successfully with a minimum of hassle, and we can re-attend any sessions we want to as a refresher - at no extra charge! But, the best part is that I truly feel like we have a new set of friends in Mexico. I'm touching my gratitude rock and saying "Thank you" for being a part of such a wonderful experience.

"Choosing Focus on Mexico was the best decision I could make. The value
received was very much worth the price."
The educational segment was excellent, much needed and much appreciated. I had not fully considered tax responsibility whether I live in the USA or not. The tax specialists were very informative. Investing in Mexico and information on the Mexican economy was enlightening and opened other considerations that, again, I had not thought of. The potential financial benefit is appealing. I especially appreciated "Alternative Health Care" and mainly because I hear/read so little of it at home. I will certainly investigate this further. "Survivor's Spanish" was excellent and laid a much needed foundation on which to build at least conversational Spanish. ALL the outings were great. Ballet Folklorico was unbelievable. Honestly, I thought "Ballet? Oh great." But it was a not-to-be-missed event. Thank you for including that. All of Sunday was excellent. I thoroughly enjoy walking to explore cities and seeing the open air markets, plazas, Tianguis were excellent introductions to Mexico, the people and their creative ways to make a living. Monte Coxala was a welcomed respite and came at just the right time in the week. The range of dining establishments was an excellent demonstration of the variety of restaurants available in the area. I think most of us expected simply restaurants serving Mexican food. I was tremendously and positively impressed with the warmth demonstrated by the Focus Team. From the time I got through Customs to the time that I went back to the airport, encouragement and warmth was consistently exuded. Not only that, but they were very helpful and stressed that they were available to help us 24 hours per day during our visit. So I already have friends in Lake Chapala and I won't be going there alone!
My Focus agent (Catherine Gonzales) was outstanding. She spent time with me one-on-one, answered my questions, made suggestions and said she would be on the look out for property that might work for me. Again the warmth and assistance was pretty amazing.
I was interested in living in Mexico for lower cost of living and weather. I didn't want to explore the country on my own and after extensive internet research, I chose Focus on Mexico to introduce me to the Lake Chapala area. Choosing Focus on Mexico was the best decision I could make. The value received was very much worth the price. They informed me of instances that would have taken me months to learn - - frustrating months that probably would have led to a return home. Focus on Mexico provided a wealth of information that I needed to know BUT I did not know that I needed to know! If anyone who reads this is considering an "exploratory trip" to Mexico, I encourage you to contact Focus on Mexico. If I had not chosen Focus on Mexico, I think it would have turned out to be a very big mistake for me.
Sherm and Lori Smith, August 13-20, 2011
The program was worth every penny! It was a lot of information to absorb, but having the handbook helped tremendously. It allowed you to follow along, take additional notes, or just enjoy the personality of the speaker!
All the outings were worthwhile. We especially liked the Ballet and Monte Coxala. The other tours helped to give us the 'lay of the land'. We felt at the end of the week that we had a good idea of where things were.
The variety of food was awesome! We certainly saw the best.
WOW !!! EVERYONE ON THE Focus on Mexico TEAM WAS GREAT!!! They made certain we were well taken care of. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again.
Brenda Marcotte, August 13-20, 2011
Overall I very much enjoyed the educational segment, particularly Dr. Gallagher's segment and would have enjoyed hearing more from her. I loved the Guadalajara trip, particularly the Ballet Folklorico. Also the Orozco murals and Tlaquepaque - everything about that day was wondrous! The restaurants were top notch and I particularly enjoyed dinner and dancing at Manix! Overall I could not have asked for better food nor atmosphere, nor company!!
I cannot say enough about the Focus Team - Outstanding!! The thoughtful consideration of Liz and Susan brought tears to my eye at times. Not to mention Manuel's cheerful patience and tolerance for the group! I found my Focus on Mexico Agent, Karen K., to be very friendly and down to earth:) I found the program to be immensely informative and helpful even though I had already been in Mexico for 3 weeks and had gained some knowledge on my own. I do not have words for the overall positive experience of the program except to say Bravo! Well done!!
Nuzhat Ahmad, August 13-20, 2011
Hi Focus Team, The program was well organized and provided a lot of information/knowledge. Over all, we are satisfied and glad that we participated in the program. Ajijic Tango, The garden restaurant, Manix, Simply Thai, Pranzo were great! The dinner at Marie and Ray was the high light and great closure to the group.
The Focus team was very well prepared and were great with attending the group members. The buyer's agent was always available and assisted us with our needs. Over all every thing was organized well and it was an excellent program.
Lee & Susan Downs, May 21-28, 2011
Focus on Mexico provided us with a very cost-effective, thorough,
and enjoyable experience.
All of the educational presentations were succinct, thorough, and useful in helping to complete the picture of Lakeside for inquirers--even after having spent five years doing our own research on the area.
The trip to Guadalajara was especially memorable, with the Orozco murals particularly impressive. Ajijic's tianguis, compared to Chapala's market, was great! We really enjoyed the time spent visiting shops in Ajijic, and peeking behind the walls in this 450 year old village.
The food was varied and delicious. We returned to Rick's Early Bird Cafe, on one of our extra days, and I declared to all other diners that, after spending decades in my quest, I had just eaten the world's best Reuben! Karen and Bill's village (Ixtlahuacan de los Membrillos) welcomed us with a brass band (actually, I think that it was a typical evening in the plaza), and the restaurant was perfect.
From the moment Liz greeted us at the airport, until she transported us back 11 days later, our Program Director did her best to keep us on schedule, and met our special needs with grace, tact and good humor. The whole team did a great job in making the week truly memorable. Liz' emails prior to the trip were very useful in our planning.
We are not interested in purchasing, and Catherine totally respected OUR "focus." She was supportive and very helpful.
Focus on Mexico provided us with a very cost-effective, thorough, and enjoyable experience. Your team and the Mexican people--our true hosts--were welcoming and warm-hearted, and were instrumental in making the kind of memories that will certainly influence our plans for the future.

"This is the best thing to
happen to me and I came down alone. It was a spiritual and
emotional transformation (I have tears in my eyes as I write this)."
The Educational Segment was excellent very informative. Could not ask for more hints, tips, insider
information that would take years to accumulate. We were shown the ropes and became “street
wise.” I could never have gathered that much useful information
even if I had lived in Lake
Chapala for a number of
years.
The Real Estate Segments & Outings were excellent, if you do not smash thru a Clubhouse
glass door as I did. (They efficiently
clean all glass in these developments.
Outstanding trips around the
area. Liz explained so many things and opened up our eyes to the beauty and
cultural aspects of this region.
Outstanding food and
entertainment, especially “The Garden” restaurant. But all restaurants had their own unique
flair, décor, atmosphere (fun to romantic). However, there was such a variety of restaurants
that it is very hard to pick just one. I loved dinner at "Chac-Lan” and
"The Garden Restaurant." What can I say? Everything was an
experience in itself, and the variety and atmosphere was superb.
The Focus Staff
is wonderful, Liz, Marie, Ray, Karen, Alumni lovely, knowledgeable, compassionate,
Karen Kean for carting me around and making me feel ok about being single. All of the Focus team were friendly and made you feel at
home, but having an adventure together. Every single staff member was fantastic
and not only there to guide and teach but to share experiences as they
unfolded. Out of sight.
This is the best thing to
happen to me and I came down alone. All
the singles who had their doubts, fears of just not fitting in (and we all did)
were transformed, made meaningful friendships, many came out of their shells,
opened up. It was a spiritual and
emotional transformation (I have tears in my eyes as I write this).

"Your program
is incredible and saves much money and time in the long run. "
Very, very informative; lower anxiety for all I must
do. Resources invaluable. Your program
is incredible and saves much money and time in the long run. We loved Cathleen;
she’s not high pressure; showed quality rentals in several ranges; making it
easier to decide. Incredible food and
restaurants. The “new” choices you used were wonderful to me. Focus Staff: All of you are incredible personalities and
caring and very helpful. Liz and
Paulette are STARS in my book!! Liz catered every little need –WOW!
Karen & Jon Moebs, 21-28 May, 2011
Outstanding program with useful hands on info on “How to” make the move here. If anyone is contemplating a move to Mexico, whether
to live there or to retire there, would do themselves a big favor by
taking
this seminar first!
Especially found Julie Vargas’ presentation insightful as well as good talks of local cost of living by Marian Wellman and Legal procedures by Lic. Ramos. If you want to buy you have to know everything about Real Estate
locally and you did a good job.
Tlaquepaque was great!! I feel I was able to get somewhat familiar with the area thanks to outings.
Food was great – All restaurants were a good choice – The “Garden” was a
treat.
Very helpful staff willing to share their experiences moving here. I always felt conmfortable asking any questions I had. Very professional but very warm- Paulette did everything she could to
make the trip a winner. –Liz is a delight. – All personnel very warm. FLOWER ARRANGEMENT IN ROOM NICE TOUCH!!
A few days after the program, Karen replied to a survey:
The seminar proved to be better than we expected! The
information was extensive & well presented. It was at times overwhelming
because there was so much useful data offered. The seminar not only answered
all of our questions about moving to Mexico, but gave us the necessary
resources to tap into in order to "customize" our move.
Outings were great! We liked seeing the Orozco murals &
listening to the guide's comments. The visit to the murals was a definite
highlight for us! Liked seeing the Wednesday market in Ajijic. We were able to
get a good dose of the area & all it has to offer.
Daily breakfast at the Real de Chapala Hotel sitting on the
patio with a view of the lake surrounded by unique vegetation, the unique ball
fountains & the delicious temperature made one look forward to a wonderful
day. The ambiance of the "Chac Lan" for dinner was special - beautiful
views of Lake Chapala. Also dinner at "Los Cinco
Potrillos" was memorable as was lunch at "Casa Fuerte" in Tlaquepaque. Food at
afore-mentioned three restaurants was excellent! Dinner party at the Bullocks'
the last night was the best evening of all!!! Exceptional margaritas, too! You
all have done a wonderful job in choosing the many restaurants we enjoyed!
Liz V. was super - a delight to be with & keep us on
schedule. Everybody connected with the Focus program, Ray, Marie, Karen, Bill,
as well as everybody connected with the program were a pleasure to deal with.
They were all willing to share their experiences of moving to Mexico with us
which made the program come alive. We had fun exchanging stories & info
with everyone in our "Chame-lot" group. What a memorable week it was!
If anyone is contemplating a move to Mexico, whether
to live there or to retire there, would do themselves a big favor by taking
this seminar first! It provides the necessary information for making the move
& fuels any incentive to examine a new & comfortable life in Mexico
Robert and Susan Doiron, April 9-16, 2011
"If you are thinking about moving to Mexico from the US or Canada, there
is no better preparation than this program. We
can´t imagine any reasonable people making a move to Mexico, without it."
Extremely valuable information. Gave us a great deal of comfort regarding
all facets of moving to Mexico
from Canada. The Real Estate Segments & Outings were very instructive. Gave us insights into the Mexican
market. It is very different from Canada so the
wide range of exposure on the program helped to formulate realistic
expectations. The Focus on Mexico program gave us good exposure to the area and what it has to
offer. Helped to put locations and distances
between communities in perspective. Loved
Liz. All were VERY helpful and willing
to do whatever to please. They were very
knowledgeable and concerned for our well being.
Susan and I felt we got our value out of the program by the second day. We can't imagine anyone making a move to Mexico without taking this program. It went beyond the factual data to the nuances that make so much difference in the application of the information.
The outings were great. Having locals explain the significance of the various attractions made a big difference to our enjoyment. Given the time we had, the number and selection of outings was good and the pace including the breaks was fine.
All Focus staff are gracious and helpful. They know there role in the program very well. We always felt welcome, safe and well attended to. We felt Paulette was informed and ensured we we taken care of without feeling like we needed to buy on the spot.
If you are thinking about moving to Mexico from the US or Canada, there is no better preparation than this program. You can glean factual (and sometimes not so factual) data from other sources but nothing replaces the insight and and practical advice from the people who have done it and helped hundreds of others do it. Had we done this just using information from the internet, government agencies and well-meaning friends, I can see that we would have unwittingly made numerous mistakes that Focus helps you avoid. We are planning to move in 2013 and feel very confident about the whole process. As Focus alumni we have access to excellent well informed experts in all facets of Mexican life, culture, laws and real estate of which we intend to take full advantage.
Steve Vanlerberg, April 2011
"The Focus on Mexico Program far exceeded my wildest expectations in all
areas of the Mexico/Lake Chapala experience. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this program !!!"
I found the educational segment to be very informative and useful regarding any future decisions to relocate to Mexico and/or the Lake Chapala area.
All of the information was great. However I believe that more time should be alloted to the subjects of immigation, the Mexican legal system and realestate transactions and procedures.
I can't recall any particular outing that I
would consider the best. ALL of the outings were extremely well planned and
executed. Liz was absolutely a big part of the experience. I was extremely delighted with all of the restaurants we visited during the program. My favorites were Ajijic Tango and Chac Lan. The dining experience was AWESOME!!!!
You can't improve on perfection !
The Focus team delivered the highest quality of information and experiences that I could ever believe was possible during my one week visit.
The buyers agents were extremely knowledgeable with all of the local real estate markets in the area. Whether you are interested in buying or renting, they seemed to have all the answers to my questions. A wide variety of properties in all price ranges were presented to the Focus participants with no sales pressure ever experienced. This was greatly appreciated. A special word of thanks goes to Catherine for her knowledge and patience regarding all of my real estate questions.
What can I say that hasn't been said many times before? The Focus on Mexico Program far exceeded my wildest expectations in all areas of the Mexico/Lake Chapala experience. From the educational seminars to the restaurants and outings. The Focus team presented themselves and the program in the highest professional manner than what I have experienced in many years. If you are considering the option of relocating to Mexico or the Lake Chapala area, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this program !!! You will find the value of this program FAR EXCEEDS the initial cost to paticipate. You will absolutely be satisfied with the experience!!!
Mary and Frank Grigel, April 2011
" I will recommend the program to my friends."
The Focus Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We got what we needed in information to help us make a decision. We are very pleased that we chose to attend the Focus Program. We now know more about the Lake Chapala area , Mexico in general and we met many very fine people.
The educational sessions were very informative.
Very good and
met my expectations. Focus is to be commended for making all this info
available to people. I will recommend the program to my friends.
Norm & Shirley Desautels, April 9-16, 2011
"What a service and great effort you all provided. Worth every penny spent."
The Educational Segments were so well organized! Beautiful presentations. Answered all our questions PLUS invaluable information on topics we hadn´t considered. Handouts and contacts very much appreciated…. Good memory “joggers.”
The Outings were Terrific. How could we have accomplished this in so short a time frame? Also good information provided on other things we might want to explore during “free” time.
The food was Wonderful. All establishments A-1 and good diversity. Particularly enjoyed lunch at Johanna´s and dinner at Manix. The ambiance at Chac-Lan was out of this world!
From day one we felt as if each staff member was already a personal friend. LOVE – we never felt lost in a strange land! What a service and great effort you all provided. THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH!! We also got a good overview of Real Estate in various price ranges and property ages. Again – so well organized and so appreciated.
We cannot think of any way it could be improved. We will recommend Focus to everyone we know. Worth every penny spent…. And so nice to be able to continue into through the web site etc.
Jarvis Johnson, March 19-26, 2011
" When I get back home I am going to recommend Focus on Mexico to
everyone I know."
During the educational sessions, they pointed out everything that anyone should know, and everything was all good.
I couldn´t ask for better information on the rental and buying of homes.
The trips and sights were just beautiful, and the food and entertainment couldn´t get any better.
The Focus Staff did an outstanding job on everyone and everything!!
I already have a place to stay when I come back in three months (or less) thanks to the Focus team. When I get back home I am going to recommend Focus on Mexico to everyone I know.
George & Marilyn Sweet, February, 2011
"No question—it worth the money for anyone seriously considering moving
to Mexico. I would go so far as to say it is mandatory. "
Seminars were as promised. Invaluable to anyone considering moving to Mexico. A perfect complement to the tours and activities.
Real Estate Segments & Outings gave valuable information on properties. No hard to sell and definitely informative even for those not buying immediately.
The Outings in Lakeside, Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque were fun, educational, informative, exploring; they are places I would want to return to and helped show the many facets of the area.
We never a bad meal. Food was fresh and well prepared. Each restaurant another fun experience. Never any fear to drink or eat.
The Focus Staff were VERY, VERY attentive and helpful. They were like personal guides and concierge. Always willing to talk, answer questions, tell stories and teach. Everyone was great, very friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful.
Gratefully, there were no pushy sales people.
No question—it worth the money for anyone seriously considering moving to Mexico. I would go so far as to say it is mandatory. I would (and have repeatedly) recommend the program to anyone considering moving or retiring south of the border. Even if I don't move there, it was a great vacation. Worth every penny.
Barbara Ross, March 19-26, 2011
"You could never get all this information on you own."
I thought the educational seminars were excellent. Even though some of them did not apply to me, I was interested in the information. The speakers were excellent, easy to understand.
I attended all of the real estate segments & outings even though I do not intend to purchase a property. I liked being able to get the “lay of the land” to compare prices with those at home.
A nice variety of Food and Entertainment was offered. Since I hope to rent here, it was good to get an idea of the variety of places to go. Some I liked better than others but that was okay.
Everyone on the Focus Staff was extremely personable and helpful. Also so good at helping people on an individual basis.
I would certainly recommend the program to anyone I know who expressed any interest. You could never get all this information on you own. Also very valuable to have the “continued” support from the group.
Maureen Young, January 2011
"My vacation had a purpose...to find out about retiring in Lake Chapla and that
purpose was accomplished. And I got all of this at what I consider a very
reasonable price. "
I thought every class was informative and important and I enjoyed all the speakers.
It is hard to pick a favorite restaurant because I like them all but if I had to pick it would be Monte Coxala.
I've never had such great food consistently for a whole week. Not one meal was bad or even average. I had to really cut down when I got back home because I'm sure I gained some weight on the trip. In addition every glass of wine was wonderful also.
Everyone on the Focus Team is wonderful. I have to give huge kudos to Liz. She was always sweet, helpful, informative, patient, smart, etc. That said... everyone was so kind and helpful and fun. I love you all.
Paulette was great through that entire experience. She was very helpful while I was in Lake Chapla and remained that way when I got home keeping in touch through phone calls and e-mails. Also she really knows her stuff and is very professional along with having a personal touch.
I been all over the world and on many different kinds of vacations such as tours, immersion programs, river rafting trips, seminars, etc., but I have to say this was one of the nicest vacations I have ever experienced. It had a purpose, to find out about retiring in Lake Chapla and that purpose was accomplished. The program provided me with information I never even thought about. But in addition to all that I learned I had so much fun. I met the nicest people, had fantastic meals, stayed in a lovely hotel, relaxed and left with a true appreciation and love for the Lake Chapla area. And I got all of this at what I consider a very reasonable price.
Randy Robbins, January 2011
A great group of poeple. Kristina was a God-send. I had to cancel my original seminar date due to surgeries. She was great help in resceduling and was a wonderful contact person.
Paulette has been great! I had to stay an extra day because of bad weather in Texas. Paulette went with me to see more houses during my extra day and I may have found my dream home. Thanks to her encouragement to look at more homes I found something great. Otherwise, I would have just wandered around Ajijic for the day.
Bill and Mary Lou Garcia, March 2011
"If you are planning on moving to Lake Chapala, the Focus on Mexico family and their alumni will keep you safe and out of trouble. "
All I really need to know about relocating to Lake Chapala, I learned in the Focus on Mexico seminars.
Tlaquepaque is beautiful, we enjoyed their art galleries, boutiques, and wonderful restaurants with the Mariachis. Guadalajara, well, I always felt that Dallas/Ft. Worth had the most beautiful women on earth, but now, I have to say that Guadalajara has the prettiest girls and the most beautiful women.
Great introduction to Ajijic, and a great lesson on restaurant cost comparison to U.S. restaurants.
We have a timeshare with Palace Resorts (Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, Mayan Reviera). We love the Palace Resorts because they pamper us and they pamper us some more. The Palace Resorts are no competition to the pampering and love we received from Liz Verar. Kristina Morgan, another gentle soul, gave us a comforting visual understanding of living in Lake Chapala. Marie Bullock is a super dynamo, through her intelligence and experience, gave us a comprehensive understanding about life in Lake Chapala.
Catherine Gonzales, a new friend who opened up her life to help us understand what it personally takes to move to Lake Chapala. A wonderful resource!Focus on Mexico is a family
Focus on Mexico is like a family. Like a family, they are loving and protective. If you are planning on moving to Lake Chapala, the Focus on Mexico family and their alumni will keep you safe and out of trouble.

"This program must be taken in full, not in part, to accomplish the broad spectrum experience that will make anyone's transition to Mexico a magical and elegant experience. The value of this program is beyond words . . . it is priceless! "
The speakers were dynamic, and the topics were covered in great depth, with any question answered. The information I received would have taken years to discover myself, through much research and trial and error. I consider these professionals that spoke to be top notch in their various areas or expertise. What a fabulous resource! There's nothing I would change or add. I think that the Focus on Mexico group has done their homework. This was an extraordinary event!
I enjoyed all of these diverse outings to the max! The variety was a good overview of what the area has to offer, which I think is a lot. The food, the environment, the music, the people and the culture were delightful in every way
I think that the entire experience was really well balanced and organized. Time to attend classes, eat lots of good food, see the area, experience the culture, in addition to time to relax and enjoy. I believe that the outings are an essential part of the experience. Classroom time alone would not have been enough to give you a true feel of what it would be like to live there.
The food was exceptionally well prepared and presented in beautiful settings. The service was awesome. I appreciated the diverse variety that allowed me to sample various types of dishes and suit my dietary preferences.
The Focus team is an amazing group of individuals. The knowledge, the intellect, the expertise, the warmth, the kindness and the open hearts of these people touched me. I feel that I have made friends for life and gained a support system that will make my transition to Mexico elegant and fun. The resources are beyond a doubt invaluable in every area that I might need advice or assistance. Thank you Focus Team! Job well done. I also noticed that everyone on the team loves their job, as well as who they work with and for. How refreshing!
Karen Kean's personal story is so amazing (as well as most of the people on the Team). She bubbles with energy and enthusiasm, follows through with details, and was so accommodating in every way. She met all of my desires, and then some. She was very efficient at narrowing down my needs, preferences and budget. She was willing to show me everything and anything that was within that range of criteria, and at no time was there ever any pressure to buy. She was there for me as an ally, who had no hidden agenda. Her only desire was to please and assist me in reaching my goals.
This program must be taken in full, not in part, to accomplish the broad spectrum experience that will make anyone's transition to Mexico a magical and elegant experience. The Focus Team is the most organized, efficient, knowledgeable and supportive group of people, that you could ever hope to meet up with. Each individual also has an advanced level of expertise in their given areas, amazing hearts, amazing stories and unique gifts that they were more than willing to share. The opportunities to give charitably, of my time and talents, exists throughout the community in many arenas. The opportunity for creating a prosperous career exists in abundance. The opportunity for a slower, more enriched lifestyle abounds. If I could have sent for my pets and my things, I would not have returned home. I now have more than a dream, but a renewed passion for life and living . . . and a way to get to Mexico sooner than later. Thank you Focus Team! The magic is underway . . . and I am full of gratitude. My heart is full of gratitude for all of the new friends and special connections that I made, in such a short period of time. I am grateful for the Focus Team and the people that were in our group. I am grateful for the fun, the food, the information and the networking that began just a few weeks ago . . . and I believe will continue expanding. You have helped to change my life for the better . . . for the best! The value of this program is beyond words . . . it is priceless!

"I was very pleased, you offered every thing you promised and more."
I was, unfortunately unable to make it to ALL of the presentations, but the ones I did manage to sit in on I found to be very informative indeed. The speakers were very well prepared and quite knowledgeable on the individual topics. I thought things were planned out very well. Liz was GREAT.
The food was GREAT. The portions were huge. The selection was wonderful, and the service superb. I for one couldn't have been happier.
You guys have hit the jack pot with your people, Kristina was wonderful setting up my trip. I may not have gone if not for her helpfulness. Karen Kean was very good and went out of her way to help me out when it was needed. And as for Liz, I could go on forever when it comes to Liz. From the moment she picked us up at the airport, to the final farewell she was amazing. Her personality and charm was only outdone by her looks and good nature. Outstanding, just a wonderful young lady. With regard to looking at real estate, I dealt with Karen & Thomas, and both were great. I bought the very first house they showed me, what does that tell you. I was very impressed.
I was very pleased, you offered every thing you promised and more. I would recommend it without a doubt, to friends and anyone one else who asked. Truly 5 stars. Great Job.
