Online sources
In this age of technologies it’s possible that the most up-to-date information is on the Internet. The most helpful site we have found is for directions in Mexico is the following:

Website: http://www.bing.com/maps/
When you go to the page, you select Driving Directions and enter beginning and ending locations. In this instance, I put in Lake Chapala, Mexico, as my beginning and Tlaquepaque, Guadalajara, as the ending destination, and here's what I got. And, of course, you can print off the directions.

Another example: I entered Ajijic, Mexico, to Cajititlan, Mexico.

It's an excellent resource and one that I think you will use quite often!
