Question:
I have read every article on
your website, as well as all the testaments. I am sold on the program, but have
one hesitation. My budget will be tight, even living in Mexico, with
absolutely no funds for a real estate purchase. Will I feel like a fish out of
water at the seminar? I am already selling some antiques from my former life to
raise the funds to attend, as the information will be vital to insure a
well-planned move. I hope you will ease my concern on this one point. Thanks in
advance for your help. Betty C
Answer:
Hi Betty.
Please don't give it another thought. You do not need to worry about that at
all. We make no separation between buyers and non-buyers, everyone to us is the
same, all are Focus participants who many many times become friends once they
move here. This is one of the richest rewards we receive from offering these
programs.
Our statistics over the years show that 25% of the people on the program do buy
a home while on the program, with another 25% in the next 1 to 3 years. The reason is that people that come are our
program are very serious about making the move. However, not
everyone comes or buys. The program is designed to help people make the decision
if this is the place for them.
There is absolutely no
pressure whatsoever, so please don't be concerned at all. We include real
estate on our program as, if people make the decision to live here, they need
to live somewhere and since real estate is a big investment this is an
important topic, and secondly the money we do make from real estate allows us
to offer the program and also the Alumni Support program, which is available to
everyone who takes the program, whether they buy or not. Plus it is important
for people to know the good and not-so-good areas (whether they buy or rent)
and the do's and don'ts to keep out of trouble.
The real estate portion of our program also includes information on renting,
plus the homes you will look at could also represent the type of properties
that would be for rent. We don't
really have apartment buildings or strictly rental properties in the area so
for the most part you would be renting a house. Real Estate is just
'one' of the topics you will learn about, as there is much more to moving to a
foreign country than just buying or renting a home.
AND we even give you a certificate to sit in again on the seminars any time in
the following 5 years after your program date. The Alumni Support program
includes access to our new 'Ask Focus' website which is chock full of
everything you will need once you are living here.
There is no question that if you are looking at living in Mexico, then the Focus on Mexico program
is a Must. So we would love to have you join us and share our little pocket of
paradise.
