Our first learning adventure in 2012. Although it was January, everyone enjoyed being here at Lake Chapala.
Our Oct 2011 group took advantage of the Pan Am game among the other great things they enjoyed.
Although September may seems cold north of the border, here in Lake Chapala Mexico our group enjoyed the wonderful weather.
Participants on our August 2011 program got a special treat, the Teatro Degollado to see a performance of the Ballet Folklorico. For those who don’t know, Ballet Folklórico is Mexico! Its many dances encompass Mayan and Aztec rituals, dramatic events from Mexico's past and colorful depictions of Mexico's diverse culture and folklore.
Although this was our first group in the month of May, they seemed to have a lot of fun and bonded very fast. As research will tell you, May is the hottest month of the year. But we had so many request for a program during that time and it seems the timing was perferct.
Our April group enjoyed dinner at the Restaurant in the beautiful Monte Coxala spa. While visiting Guadalajara they enjoyed Plaza Tapatia and Lunch at Casa Fuerte in Tlaquepaque. Two twin sisters were on this group and sometimes it was difficult to determine which was which.
Our March group enjoyed going around the lake to view the Pelicans and the celebration of the Spring Equinox. These two events only happen around this time of the year.
This was our 2nd program for 2011. It was still a bit chilly, but the days were warm. Take a look at all the fun this group had.
They've been there, done that and can't wait to tell everyone what a wonderful time they had, the many good friends they made and how they can't wait to return to live in our little slice of paradise. Focus on Mexico is so proud and happy about the wonderful people who have made the Lake Chapala area their home. They have so many wonderful qualities and have enriched our lives in so many ways. See what they have to say and then experience the Focus on Mexico program for yourself. You'll never regret it!
