Do you recommend registering with the US Dept of State?

That would be entirely up to you. This area is very safe and in the event of any problems, we have access to many experts in the area who can and will be of service to us and our participants. Personally, I don’t know of anyone who has done this, but again it is personal preference…whatever fits your comfort level.
