Travel Companions – Driving to/from Mexico and within Mexico
We’ve had a lot of requests lately
to find out if anyone was driving south to Lake Chapala
or north to the states so people could caravan or share a ride. What we have
done in the past is just keep our eyes and ears out for similar requests and
pass them on. However, as you can well imagine, this is a most inefficient
delivery system!
We think caravans are good ideas
for those who are concerned. Traveling in a group is comforting to many who fear
the unknown. We think that one trip in a caravan might be helpful for first-timers
and definitely be enough to convince them that driving in Mexico isn't nearly as dangerous as
the myths and media make it out to be.
