Do you know if the Sprint phones will work in your area?
Stateside phones either do not work well here or are very expensive to use.
You can check with your local Sprint store to find out if there is a way to
enable international calling on your phone. I know it can be done with Verizon;
I assume Sprint will be the same. Again, it is quite expensive, so you may only
want to use it for emergency incoming calls.
When you get here, you can purchase
a phone card from the front desk (Ana will show you how to use it), which can
be used on a phone in the lobby area. The phone card is only about $3.00 USD,
and is a much better deal than trying to use your cell phone.
Also, before you
come, we have you send us your emergency contact information so that in case of
any challenges, we know who to contact. We Plan to be Prepared!
