At every FOCUS seminar we offer modestly priced a-la-carte options that include the following:
The Sunday full-day tour of Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque includes a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site Hospicio Las Cabañas and a detailed review of the famous murals by José Clemente Orozco, a contemporary of Diego Rivera, including one of his most famous murals “Man on Fire”. After a morning in the historic center of Guadalajara, we tour the unique artisan shopping area of Tlaquepaque and enjoy lunch at one of the best restaurants in the area, followed by a performance by the famous local female mariachis.
On Monday afternoon we take you to lunch at one of the traditional restaurants on the Chapala malécon. Then after a stroll through the local artisan stalls and sights of Chapala, we stop in San Antonio for a brief lesson on the history and making of tequila and recommendations for your tequila purchases.
On Tuesday afternoon after lunch at a central Ajijic restaurant, we take you on a tour of Ajijic pointing out some of the famous sights and murals, including a visit to the Lake Chapala Society, and a brief history of the area.
When planning your FOCUS seminar, these extras will provide you with greater knowledge and appreciation of what Lakeside has to offer, so come along!
